The FRSC said applications must be submitted through its official recruitment platform, stressing that the exercise is free of charge and warning prospective applicants against paying anyone for employment.

According to the corps, the recruitment exercise covers vacancies in the Officer Cadre, Marshal Inspector Cadre, and Road Marshal Assistant Cadre, as well as positions for drivers, motorcycle riders, and artisans.

The Officer Cadre includes positions such as Superintendent Route Commander (SRC), Route Commander (RC), Deputy Route Commander (DRC), and Assistant Route Commander (ARC).

Applicants for the Road Marshal Assistant Cadre are expected to possess a minimum of three credits in the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), including English Language and Mathematics.

The corps added that applicants seeking positions as drivers or motorcycle riders must possess the appropriate class of valid driver’s licence.

The FRSC said prospective applicants must be Nigerians by birth, be of good character, and satisfy the prescribed physical and medical fitness requirements.

It also stated that candidates must present genuine credentials during the screening process and meet the age and qualification requirements applicable to their chosen cadre.

The corps advised pregnant women not to apply for operational roles because of the physical demands associated with the recruitment process.

According to the FRSC, the application portal will remain open for four weeks from 3 July.
