The Air Transport Services Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) branch, has urged the agency’s management to secure urgent approval and implementation of its new Conditions of Service (CoS) to improve workers’ welfare.
Ekip Eso, the newly elected branch chairman, made the call during the inauguration of the branch’s new executive at NAMA headquarters annex in Lagos.
Eso said the implementation of the new Conditions of Service remained a priority for the union, adding that timely approval would boost workers’ confidence, improve productivity and strengthen industrial harmony.
He also pledged the union’s cooperation with management in addressing operational challenges affecting the agency, including inadequate funding.
The chairman said the association would continue to advocate improved welfare packages and better working conditions for employees while working with management to address issues affecting the agency’s operations.
