LeadstackHR Launches Free HR Platform to Reduce Payroll Errors and Improve Employee Experience

By Deborah Bodunde

LeadstackHR, a Nigerian technology company, has launched a free human resources management platform designed to help organisations reduce payroll errors, streamline recruitment processes, and enhance employee management.

The company said the platform was developed to address common workplace challenges affecting both employers and employees, including delayed salary processing, poor onboarding experiences, inefficient performance management systems, and fragmented employee records.

Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of LeadstackHR, Kingsley Chukwuemeka, said the platform was created to address longstanding structural challenges in workplace management.

According to LeadstackHR, many small and medium-sized enterprises still rely on spreadsheets, paper-based records, and disconnected software applications to manage their workforce, often resulting in administrative errors that can affect employee pay, career progression, and the overall workplace experience.

The platform integrates payroll management, recruitment, employee onboarding, leave and attendance management, learning management, workforce analytics, time tracking, and performance management into a single system.

“Nigerian businesses have been solving 21st-century challenges with 20th-century solutions for far too long,” Chukwuemeka said.

He noted that the platform was built around local workplace realities, including statutory deductions, pension remittances, and regulatory compliance requirements that directly affect employees’ earnings and benefits.

“LeadstackHR reflects Nigerian workplace realities, from statutory deductions and pension remittances to local compliance requirements and the way Nigerian teams actually communicate and operate. We built this for right here, right now,” he said.

The company noted that payroll inaccuracies remain among the most damaging workplace issues because they undermine employees’ trust and affect their financial wellbeing.

LeadstackHR spokesperson, Emmanuel Oribhunuebho, said many of the challenges confronting HR departments stem from inadequate technology rather than a lack of professional competence.

“Payroll errors erode employee trust in ways that are almost impossible to repair,” Oribhunuebho said.

He added that weaknesses in recruitment and onboarding processes can negatively affect employees from the moment they join an organisation.

“Poor recruitment tracking means brilliant candidates slip through the cracks while mediocre ones get hired. Onboarding chaos leaves new employees confused and disengaged before they have even received their first salary,” he said.

According to the company, the platform enables organisations to move candidates seamlessly from recruitment to onboarding, payroll administration, and performance management without repeatedly entering the same employee information.

LeadstackHR said the system could help reduce administrative delays, improve data accuracy, and deliver a more consistent employee experience.

Oribhunuebho noted that many organisations currently use separate systems for payroll, recruitment, and performance management, creating inefficiencies that affect both HR teams and employees.

“Most organisations cobble together their HR technology, a payroll tool from one vendor, a recruitment app from another, a performance system that does not talk to either,” he said.

“The result is duplicated data entry, reconciliation headaches, and an HR team that spends more time managing systems than managing people. LeadstackHR eliminates that problem entirely.”

The company disclosed that its payroll solution automates salary calculations, statutory deductions, pension remittances, and payslip generation, thereby reducing the risk of manual errors and compliance failures.

LeadstackHR said the platform is being offered free to start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises as part of efforts to help organisations modernise their HR operations and strengthen workforce management.

The launch comes as employers increasingly adopt digital solutions to manage recruitment, employee records, learning and development, performance evaluation, and payroll administration amid changing workplace expectations.
