NCS Fixes May 10 Deadline for Final Recruitment Profile Update

By Samuel Ogunsona

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has advanced shortlisted applicants to the final stage of its 2025 recruitment exercise, directing candidates to complete a mandatory profile update on the agency’s official portal ahead of the interview and physical screening phase.

In a notice published on its official X account on Wednesday, the Service stated that all shortlisted candidates must ensure the accuracy of the information submitted during the update process.

“All successful candidates are to ensure that the information provided is accurate and valid, as this will constitute their updated profiles for the final interview and physical screening,” the notice read.

According to the NCS, the portal will remain accessible until 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, 10 May, after which no further submissions will be accepted.

The Service also reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process, warning applicants against engaging with unofficial agents or payment requests.

“The Service wishes to reiterate that it does not solicit payments for recruitment or contact applicants through unofficial channels, as the recruitment process is strictly free and fair,” the notice added.

Candidates were advised to rely solely on official communication channels for recruitment updates and enquiries. The agency said help desk lines would be available from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The current stage follows the nationwide recruitment exercise launched in December 2024, which drew more than 573,000 applications for 3,927 vacancies.
