The member representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Mudasiru Lukman, has distributed vehicles and vocational tools to constituents as part of a broader effort to promote economic participation, enterprise development, and workforce support.
The empowerment programme coincided with the commissioning of a modern ICT Centre at the Federal College of Education, Iwo, aimed at expanding digital learning opportunities and strengthening students’ readiness for the evolving world of work.
Among the items distributed was a car presented to the Chief Imam of Iwo, while other beneficiaries received tools intended to support income generation and small-scale enterprise.
The Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba Abdul-Rasheed Akanbi, commended Lukman for consistently recognising and involving traditional institutions in grassroots development, noting that such engagement had been largely overlooked by previous representatives.
“The current representative has demonstrated an uncommon commitment to inclusive leadership by constantly engaging traditional rulers and involving them in grassroots developmental initiatives,” Oba Akanbi said.
