inDrive has partnered with healthtech firm Heala to provide affordable telemedicine services to top-performing drivers, committing more than N1.2bn in rewards and healthcare support.
The initiative is designed to prioritise the welfare of its Nigerian drivers by expanding access to affordable healthcare services.
Launched in 2025, the programme has already benefited over 3,000 drivers, with rewards exceeding N1.2bn. It recognises and incentivisesdrivers who consistently deliver high-quality service, accounting for more than 70 per cent of service quality on the platform.
Through the partnership, eligible drivers can access healthcare plans starting from N1,300 per month. These plans include consultations with licensed doctors, prescriptions, and access to medications from nearby pharmacies. They also cover diagnostic tests and specialist referrals, while annual subscriptions provide for hospital visits where necessary.
“The Platinum Driver Programme was created to recognise and reward drivers who consistently provide outstanding service on the platform. Expanding the programme through our partnership with Heala allows us to go even further by supporting the health and wellbeing of these drivers and their families,” said Mr. Oladimeji Timothy, Country Representative for inDrive Nigeria.
Mr. Anderson Oriahi, Chief Executive Officer of Heala, added: “Our partnership with inDrive demonstrates how technology can make healthcare more accessible for people with demanding schedules.
“Drivers play an essential role in keeping cities moving, and through this collaboration, we are ensuring they can access quality healthcare quickly and conveniently, wherever they are.”
