EasyBuy, a smartphone and electronics financing provider, has announced plans to recruit 10,000 business developers across Nigeria as part of its expansion strategy.
The initiative, tagged the EasyBuy Sales Talent Programme, is designed to empower Nigerians with income opportunities within the digital economy.
In a statement issued on Monday, the company said the programme targets a broad demographic, including young graduates, sales professionals, stay-at-home mothers, and point-of-sale (POS) operators.
EasyBuy noted that the recruitment drive forms a key component of its 2026 growth plan, adding that it is increasingly prioritising human capital as a major driver of business expansion.
Speaking on the development, the Chief Executive Officer of Newedge Finance Limited, Mrs. Jessica Ugwuoke, said the programme reflects the company’s commitment to investing in people.
“This win-win partnership with Nigerians, on whose support we have come this far, reflects our continuous investment in people,” Ugwuoke said.
“Like everything we do at EasyBuy, this Sales Talent Programme is driven by our vision of equal financial access for an easier life for everyone.”
The company stated that the programme offers participants a structured pathway to stable earnings, combining a monthly base pay with commission-based incentives.
Ugwuoke added that selected applicants would receive training and be equipped with the tools required to achieve financial independence.
She further noted that participants would be able to carry out their roles remotely using their mobile phones.
EasyBuy said the initiative is expected to contribute to job creation and income generation, particularly as Nigeria continues to grapple with unemployment and the need for more inclusive economic opportunities.
